Job description

We are a growing low-voltage integration company looking for an experienced Lead Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who can work independently, take ownership of projects, troubleshoot in the field, and adapt to different types of work and environments.

Our projects include commercial and residential AV systems, networking, CCTV and structured cabling. We are looking for someone dependable, motivated, professional with clients, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small business environment.

This is not a “sit and wait for instructions” position. We need someone who can wear multiple hats, adapt quickly, travel when needed, and take ownership of projects in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Install and troubleshoot Audio Video and low-voltage systems
  • Lead projects in the field with minimal supervision
  • Install structured cabling, networking equipment, AV systems and CCTV
  • Read plans and coordinate with other trades onsite
  • Rack building, cable management, labeling, testing, and documentation
  • Communicate professionally with customers and project managers
  • Travel to project sites as needed
  • Help train and guide junior technicians when required

Qualifications

  • Experience in low-voltage, AV, networking, or security integration
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized
  • Professional attitude and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel when needed
