Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and strike audio, video, lighting, and presentation equipment for live events, meetings, and productions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audiovisual systems before and during events to ensure seamless execution
  • Coordinate with clients, event staff, and vendors to understand production requirements and deliver high-quality event support
  • Conduct routine maintenance, testing, and inventory management of audiovisual equipment to ensure operational readiness
  • Assist with event load-in/load-out activities, including equipment transportation, cabling, staging, and system configuration.

Education and/or Experience
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in a live performing arts venue/center/theater.
  • Technical degree or certification preferred.

Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge and experience working with stagehand personnel.
  • Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and facility management.
  • Working knowledge of applicable OSHA, state, and other work environment safety regulations.
  • Working knowledge of fire and public safety issues.
