Partner Technology, a well established custom A/V and residential and commercial security solutions provider in the Athens area, is currently seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Installation, service and inspection of home automation, audio/video, and security alarm systems and other associated low voltage systems
  • Completion of all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that systems are complete and operational according to contract requirements and prescribed standards
  • Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment, and security software installation
  • Troubleshooting new and existing systems to ensure system is functioning properly
  • Inspection of equipment visually and replacement of defective components
  • Performs preventive inspections maintenance tasks in accordance with pre-established schedules and documents results/recommendations of maintenance
  • Provides on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers' security and A/V automation equipment
  • Prepares accurate timely service tickets and reports
  • Manages several medium to large jobs concurrently and doing so within approved hours and margin tolerances
  • Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned such as job-site cleanup
  • Ensures a high level of and customer service, satisfaction and communication
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site

Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the audio/video, automation, or other low voltage communication industry installing field devices and programming systems
  • Experience working with Control4 is desired
  • Demonstrated ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair various systems, controls and equipment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team

Requirements:
  • Valid GA Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Ability to work full time
