What You'll Do
Live Production & Show Execution
  • Ensure a world-class mix for both livestream and studio audiences, maintaining top-tier audio quality for every production.
  • Collaborate closely with presenters and crew, expertly placing microphones and guiding audio elements with skill and precision.
  • Maintain a flawless asset inventory, and execute all show cues and transitions seamlessly.
  • Anticipate and react to real-time show dynamics, ensuring clear, powerful, and balanced sound from start to finish.
  • Partner creatively and strategically with producers and operators to deliver memorable events every time.
Systems, Equipment & Technical Operations
  • Program and operate state-of-the-art mixers, microphones, intercoms, and all studio audio gear.
  • Spearhead new equipment installations-ensure the infrastructure is always future-ready.
  • Proactively maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance every piece of audio equipment to eliminate production downtime.
  • Oversee RF coordination and champion broadcast-ready standards across all technical operations.
Workflow Development & Optimization
  • Continuously refine audio workflows to match rapidly evolving show needs and technology trends.
  • Gather feedback, innovate, and implement improvements that push efficiency and quality higher for every event.
Engineer Management & Training
  • Lead, train, and support an elite team of project-based audio engineers (A1s, A2s) working on diverse live productions.
  • Develop standardized practices, deliver real-time feedback, and empower engineers to perform at their peak.
  • Drive post-show reviews and performance improvements, championing a collaborative learning environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 5-7 years in live broadcast/event audio engineering, with deep knowledge of audio systems and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced familiarity with Calrec boards, Enco music player, ST2110 standards, cloud-based workflows, and both digital and analog audio consoles.
  • Proven leadership of audio teams, plus hands-on experience with streaming, ENG, and complex production environments.
  • Certifications in audio engineering or related fields (L Acoustics, SMAART, Pro Tools, Q-SYS, etc.) are highly desirable.
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Expertise using Google Workspace and MS Outlook.

Additional Details
  • This is a Full-Time position, that works on-site in New York City at our client's office.
  • This role works flexible hours, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays according to production schedules
