Audio Expert – Music Transcription & Polyphonic Analysis

Role Type: Contractor
Location: Global, Fully Remote
Schedule: Flexible, ~15 hours/week

Role Summary

We are seeking skilled Audio Experts with strong music transcription, polyphonic analysis, music notation, and Python skills to support an AI training project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transcribe polyphonic recordings into accurate musical notation.
  • Separate and identify SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) vocal lines.
  • Identify pitches, rhythms, durations, rests, and re-articulations.
  • Apply accurate key signatures, accidentals, and enharmonic spelling.
  • Generate and manipulate MusicXML files.
  • Use Python and audio-analysis tools to support transcription workflows.
  • Validate transcriptions through musical and technical review.
