Job description

Inter Miami CF is seeking a Director of Video Production, who will lead a team of shooter/editors, manage their workload, interface with multiple departments across the Club, solicit feedback and manage expectations during the creative process. The individual in this role must be an experienced videographer as well as manager of people, who can prioritize multiple projects at once and understands the professional sports landscape and the type of content it requires. We are seeking an excellent visual storyteller who has a fresh and edgy creative style.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of videographers of varying levels and skillsets.
  • Lead full-cycle video productions including capture and editing of all Club video needs, such as: Matchday coverage,
  • Digital/Social pieces, In-stadium videoboard pieces, corporate partnership fulfillment, and ticket sales video needs
  • Collaborate with all in-house departments, external agencies, and corporate partners on video projects
  • Take video briefs from start to finish (brainstorming, planning, production, post-production, delivery).
  • Manage & organize video archives for all footage (Media Asset Management)
  • Elevate our visual storytelling in alignment with the Club's brand guidelines and marketing initiatives
  • Manage lighting and audio setups for interviews and other shoots.
  • Maintain, organize and catalogue club-owned video & lighting equipment
  • Maintain strong relationships with outside vendors and continue to grow production vendor database
  • All other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports
  • Experience with a professional sports team is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of cinema cameras and lenses (Sony systems).
  • Advanced use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) required.
  • Experience in producing short-form and long-form videos required.
  • Lighting and set design production knowledge
  • Exceptional creative abilities; looking to push the envelope and develop and implement fresh ideas.
  • Understanding of brand awareness.
  • Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional knowledge and passion for the sport and culture of fu'tbol preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment is required.
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally and work nights and weekends as required.
