Meyocks is searching for a Social Media Intern ready to jump headfirst into agency life. You'll work closely with our social media, public relations, and content teams supporting social while also collaborating with creative directors and art directors to help brands mean more.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning the fundamentals of social media within a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment.
Job Summary:
The Social Media intern will support the Meyocks team in assisting with the creation, scheduling, and management of content across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and client websites.
This intern will assist with content ideation, light video editing, community management, and basic social media performance reporting while gaining hands-on experience with brand, social media and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with ideating and creating social media content that aligns with brand voice and platform best practices
  • Supporting scheduling, publishing, and community management across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Monitoring comments, direct messages, and mentions across social channels
  • Helping compile basic monthly or quarterly analytics and performance insights
  • Monitoring social media channels for brand mentions, conversations, and emerging trends, providing insights to help inform content strategy and community engagement
  • Identifying trending audio, hashtags, and content formats that align with the brands
  • Brainstorming creative content ideas for campaigns, seasonal moments, and trending topics
  • Staying informed on platform updates and emerging social media features

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and interest in content creation (photo, video, short-form)
  • Basic experience with light video editing and design tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, iMovie, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn social media and analytics
  • Ability to organize information clearly and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

Education and Experience:
  • A student working towards a bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, public relations, marketing or related fields.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and project management software such as Asana.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience through internships, campus activities, volunteering, class work or transferable work experience.
