Job description

THE POSITION: Auction Specialist
We are seeking strong candidates to represent our company in the position of Auction Specialist .
Supported by Management and a strong in-house marketing and sales support department, this position requires a self-starter who is an expert on our product, passionate about the company vision, confident in their ability and dedicated to achieving their production goals.
Working in a niche luxury property market, interacting with high net worth individuals and luxury real estate professionals, this exclusive opportunity demands solid sales, presentation, follow-up and relationship building skills. This is ultimately a commission-only role best suited for high-performing, entrepreneurial professionals. The first year in the position, however, is a salary and commission based role with benefits.
Requirements
The following description is divided into two parts. The first outlining the long term position, and the second piece explaining the first year.
LONG TERM:
Responsibilities Include:
  • Daily research to be an expert on both national and hyperlocal market real estate activity and trends
  • Investigate the luxury property market to find current and future auction opportunities
  • Self-generating agent and Seller leads for potential auction properties
  • Active prospecting to sign new auction opportunities in market
  • Cultivating and sustaining real estate industry relationships to remain top of mind for potential auction opportunities
  • Conducting office presentations to educate the agent community on the Company's products and services
  • Attend networking events to educate real estate industry influencers on the Company's products and services
  • Proactive promotion of company auction services to prospective sellers and their real estate agents
  • Meeting with key influencers and business owners through networking organizations
  • Networking for consistent referrals from luxury real estate agents
  • Liaise with the Company's sales, marketing and PR teams to communicate sales efforts
  • Utilize the Company's technology tools to build and maintain pipelines, track leads, report levels of interest and track KPIs.
  • Data mining existing company database and resources to create new business opportunities
  • Structured daily prospecting and follow-up activities to meet goals and quotas
  • Consistent updating of company lead management CRM and other company tools
  • Follow up with Company-generated seller leads, if applicable, answering their questions, and educating them about the Company's products and services
  • Work closely with Regional Vice President to prepare auction marketing proposals and auction marketing agreements for new clients
  • Showing active auction properties in market
  • Weekly and monthly team call attendance

THE FIRST YEAR:
If you are highly motivated and looking to challenge yourself to grow - this is a role for you. For the first year, this is an employment position including a salary, commission and benefits.
You will play an instrumental role in the conversion of auctions by spending the auction cycle in-market - working alongside the auction team, promoting the opportunity and aggregating bidder interest.
The work will be demanding but will provide an opportunity to be a key member of the teams responsible for selling Concierge's most prestigious properties while working alongside some of our most remarkable clients - high-profile agents and Sellers, and ultra-high net worth Buyers and Sellers.
To be a fit, you must be very comfortable with a sporadic work / life schedule and enjoy spending time in new places. As importantly, you must be a savvy salesperson with the ability to handle difficult and complex pieces of business, under pressure and tight deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participate in Internal/External calls for the Auction Cycle
  • Quickly initiate efforts to create local community awareness of the auction
  • Meet with local Real Estate Agents to build interest
  • Find and network with local people of influence to build interest
  • Conduct office presentations
  • Connect regularly with the property listing agent to create and manage interest alongside internal teams
  • Manage a pipeline of leads with consistent follow up and updating of Salesforce
  • Get qualified buyers to register as formal bidders
  • Participate in all team calls for an auction's marketing cycle
  • Formulate a savvy and sophisticated presence and strategy in all things related to the sale

REQUIREMENTS:
Obtain real estate license within first 90 days if not currently holding an active license
Must be willing to travel as mandated
One year commitment (minimum, before moving into Business Development role)
