Job description

Shrader Mendez Attorneys at Law are seeking a motivated and client-focused Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload, advocating on behalf of clients, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while developing litigation and client management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage a caseload from inception through resolution.

Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.

Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances.

Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and legal strategy.

Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.

Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation and exhibit organization.

Review and analyze medical records, expert reports, contracts, and other relevant documents.

Collaborate with partners, attorneys, and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Maintain accurate case records and comply with all firm policies and ethical obligations.
