Job description

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site. No relocation is offered.

The Virginia Program Office has an opening for a Project Controller to support the financial administration of government contracts.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Contract Reporting: Develops budgets and schedules for contract work. Performs and/or assists in analyses of all financials, such as funding, revenue & expense outlooks, variance analysis and internal systems reports. Devises, controls and implements all program financial reporting and advises management of financial status. Ensures all contractual deliverable requirements (e.g. billing, reports) are met. Facilitates proper invoicing to assigned customers and assists with the investigations of any outstanding accounts receivables (AR). Performs analysis to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks. Analyzes, tracks and maintains adequate funding for work at hand. Maintains accurate records of expenditures, prepares expenditure projections. Manages and submits timely requests to the government for additional funding. Incorporates contractual changes into control systems. Analyzes and tracks progress of work against contract items and reports on contract cost and schedule baselines. Devises analytical instruments to report or performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans. Leads interdepartmental development of program plans. Interfaces with vendors and customers, creates and tracks purchase orders. Performs investigations as required. Oversees and reports performance to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met; arranges modifications as required.

Corporate Financials: Responds to requests from Corporate CFO and / or Division Finance & Business Operations staff related to revenue and sales tracking and forecasts for the projects assigned. Supplies data and inputs to Outlooks and Forecasts. Tracks, analyzes and interprets systems outputs (e.g.SAART, ROME, Deltek Time Reporting, Costpoint, A/P, A/R, Purchasing).

TS/SCI with poly (#tssci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or business administration or relevant work experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with AT&T Financial, accounting and reporting systems and contract reporting systems for Government Cost Plus and Fixed Price contracts.
