About the Role
As the VP of Customer Engagement, you'll own the end-to-end customer journey-developing and executing engagement strategies that drive satisfaction, loyalty, and growth. You'll lead a high-performing team across customer success, support, and lifecycle marketing, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure every customer interaction reflects our values and delivers measurable impact.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute a customer engagement strategy aligned with business goals and customer needs.
Lead and scale teams across customer success, customer support, and retention programs.
Own customer lifecycle touchpoints-onboarding, adoption, renewals, advocacy.
Analyze customer data and feedback to continuously improve experiences.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales to optimize engagement.
Champion a customer-first culture throughout the organization.
Define KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure customer satisfaction and success.
What We're Looking For
10+ years of experience in customer success, engagement, or experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of scaling customer-facing teams and strategies in a high-growth environment.
Strong understanding of customer metrics (e.g. NPS, CSAT, retention, CLTV).
Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
Strategic thinker who's not afraid to dive into the details when needed.
Passion for creating seamless, delightful customer experiences.
Bonus Points For
Experience in [industry-specific experience if relevant-e.g., SaaS, eCommerce, fintech, etc.]
Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Gainsight, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
Track record of implementing customer feedback loops that inform product development.
