This full-time position requires you to work onsite, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services. Our facility is designed to support an interactive workflow, allowing for seamless communication between therapists and healthcare providers. You can expect to work approximately 40 hours per week, with some variable weekend shifts to accommodate patient needs. As a Physical Therapist at Atrium Physical Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional capabilities and limitations.
• Developing customized treatment plans tailored to individual needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient goals.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions designed to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Educating patients and their families on techniques to enhance rehabilitation and facilitate ongoing improvement.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of all treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with your interdisciplinary team to create a holistic approach to patient care, actively engaging with physicians and referrals.
• Participating in staff meetings and continuing education initiatives, ensuring you are up-to-date with best practices in physical therapy.
• Mentoring and supervising physical therapy assistants and support staff to optimize department resources.

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a rehabilitation facility.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

While not required, the following experiences will enhance your candidacy:

• Experience with specialized populations such as pediatrics or geriatrics.
• Certification in advanced therapeutic techniques or modalities.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or educational programs related to physical therapy.
