Job description

Job Title: Radiology Tech
Unit: Medical Imaging
Shift: Full-Time(Mon, Tues, Fri 830a-9p)
Facility: Atrium Medical Center
General Summary/Responsibilities:
Independently performs diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast
media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of
medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Radiology
Department. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good
working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on
call responsibilities.
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree

• Type of degree: Allied Health
• Area of study or major: Radiologic Technology
• Preferred educational qualifications: N/A
• Position specific testing requirement: N/A
Licensure/Certification/Registration
• CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire
• ARRT RT (R) registry required
