Atrium Health Floyd is launching an 11bed High Acuity Progressive Care Unit (HAU) in early 2026, offering an exciting opportunity to join a brandnew, fastgrowing team. The HAU cares for high acuity medically complex patients with a dedicated 1:3 nursetopatient ratio. In the HAU you will have the opportunity to help shape the culture and care from day one, and play a key role in launching a unit designed for excellence. We are welcoming nurses who thrive and find fulfillment in a fast-paced, clinically challenging environment-and who value collaboration, autonomy, and continuous growth.

We're Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Add additional preferred qualifications

What You'll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
