POSITION OVERVIEW
The Blending Technician completes daily scheduled blending and oversees the cleaning and sanitation of the production areas.
Required Skill Set: Function independently as well as actively participate in a team environment; fast, accurate, and detailed in a fast-moving environment; Prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously; Able to lift objects up to 55 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
Responsibilities for Food Safety: Use of appropriate logs and procedures for Shipping and Receiving, Raw Material Testing, Ingredient Blending, Ingredient Storage, Allergen Segregation and Handling, Glass and Brittle Plastics, GMP, Production-Area Sanitation and Cleaning.
Training Required: GMP, Forklift Operator Certification
1. Complete daily blending as scheduled
2. Generate, maintain, and implement cleaning and sanitation schedules for production area(s)
3. Prepare retain samples of finished products for QC
4. Assist in preparing finished orders for shipping as necessary
5. Assist in receiving incoming materials as necessary
6. Assist in organizing, cleaning, and maintaining warehouse and production areas
7. Assist in line operations as needed
