Job description

Overview

PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Sr Manager, Money Movement Product Strategy at our Tysons, Virginia or Omaha, Nebraska location.  The primary purpose of this position is to have full end to end responsibilities, including P&L, for PenFed’s ATMs and assigned money movement products, including the day-to-day monitoring & servicing, vendor management and internal partner relationships that foster best in class solutions.  


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of PenFed’s managed services & branded ATM fleet as well as other assigned money movement products.
  • Have direct responsibility for the departmental P&L and all related operating expenses.
  • Be responsible for identifying and implementing new features and functionalities that will increase cardmember acceptance and favorable transaction interactions.
  • Stay current on relevant industry and competition trends.
  • Ensure applicable compliance and regulatory requirements are met (examples, ADA and Reg Z, Reg E, Reg CC, etc.)
  • Review monthly transactions and performance reports and make recommendations regarding high and low performing locations, based on KPI’s, to move, remove or add new ATMs.
  • Publish a quarterly dashboard for each supported product/service.
  • Regular and proactively liaison with the Global Fixed Assets, Security, Fraud, and the Branch Operations teams on ATM moves, adds and removals.
  • Lead calls with internal and external teams to review project plans, issues/opportunity progress and resolution.
  • Spearhead ongoing ‘look/tone and feel’ improvements to showcase PenFed ATMs, ATM surrounds and brand standards.
  • Monitor monthly recurring vendor invoices for accuracy and received/processed timely.
  • Monitor non-recurring invoices for accuracy and received/processed timely.
  • Closely monitor and resolve any accounting and GL reconciliations outages.
  • Develop and maintain processes to ensure PenFed GFA, Accounting and Finance, Business Development and Corporate Security Teams have updated information about PenFed’s ATMs.
  • Proficient in debit network fees, transaction routing and contractual obligations with applicable vendors including Visa, AllPoint and Co-op.
  • Work closely with vendors and other PenFed departments to coordinate effective and efficient ATM, surrounds and or signage installs, moves and de-installs.
  • Review and update the intranet tab and Operational Knowledge in Salesforce
  • Ensure the Enterprise Risk Management Register (ERM) is accurate and up to date on a quarterly basis.
  • Regularly review applicable Policies and Procedures and draft updates and changes to Management for approval.
  • Regularly review and update department procedures as needed.
  • Oversee the Branch and ATM Locator Service on PenFed Online and PenFed mobile to optimize best in class experience and overall accuracy.
  • Interact and support other PenFed departments and/or branch staff, and vendors to resolve issues within delegated authority.
  • Lead and delegate all departmental projects to ensure timely and flawless execution.
  • Lead and delegate all merger activities to ensure timely and flawless execution.
  • Train new/existing staff in all existing and new department functions.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience with ATMs, debit networks, routing, interchange, coordinating equipment implementation and installation required.
  • Minimum of two years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience in using A.I. tools preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will supervise employees.

Licenses and Certifications

There are no additional certifications required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*

Travel

Ability to travel to various worksites and be on call may be required.

Pay Transparency

The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $84,700.00 - $136,806.00
This position is eligible for an organizational performance based annual bonus, subject to board discretion and approval.
This position is eligible for an individual performance based annual bonus.
