Position Description:
We seek candidates who will pursue research in physical oceanography with a strong modelling, observational and/or theoretical component. The range of possible research areas includes (but is not limited to) ocean-atmosphere coupling, interactions with the cryosphere, coastal processes, arctic oceanography, dynamics, and the ocean's role in climate and climate change.
Job Duties:
The successful applicant will develop an active research program, supervise graduate students, and have a strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
A PhD in physical oceanography or a closely related field is required.
