One of the most unique aspects of this role is the ability to see the direct impact of your work. Whether deploying a new ATM feature, improving a customer-facing experience, enhancing platform stability, or supporting new functionality across the ATM network, your contributions will be visible in a technology channel used by customers every day. This is an excellent opportunity for systems engineers, technical engineers, infrastructure engineers, platform engineers, and systems administrators who enjoy solving complex operational challenges, working with modern automation technologies, and developing expertise in a highly specialized and in-demand area of financial services technology.

Review documentation, proposals, and changes proposed by less experienced staff. Seek to expand knowledge and understanding of Financial Services trends, practices, and technologies on a continuous basis. Follow and promote use of industry best practices, standards and procedures. Maintain a strong aptitude and working knowledge of Bank applications, systems, and development environments. Maintain a detailed understanding of vendor technologies and services used by the Bank. Design, deploy, install, configure, maintain, and support vendor-provided applications and technology platforms. Support software deployment, vulnerability remediation, patch management, platform upgrades, and operational stability. Develop and maintain automation solutions to support software installation, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, application, and platform issues across multiple integrated systems. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to improve platform reliability, functionality, security, and customer experience. Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
