Job description

New Contract Position Available with First to Final Logistics!

We're seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to transport regional dedicated freight coming out of airport locations around Atlanta, GA.

The expected routes are:

  • ATL-MIA-ATL
  • ATL-IAD-ATL
  • ATL-ORD-ATL

All lanes are round-trip.

We're offering our Airport Freight CDL Truck Drivers $1,400 - $1,800 per week and bonuses for meeting targets. This contract position will offer you the ability to work full-time hours and allow you to gain more over-the-road experience. Keep reading to learn more!

CORE AIRPORT FREIGHT CDL TRUCK DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely driving heavy vehicles while following all federal, state, and local laws
  • Performing thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, including tire pressure, oil levels, and routine maintenance
  • Safely and securely loading and unloading cargo to prevent transit damage and minimize shifting
  • Accurately keeping track of hours in service, fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance records in electronic logging devices (ELDs)
  • Communicating with dispatchers about routes, delays, and delivery schedules to support efficiency
  • Following all DOT regulations and safety protocols

YOU MIGHT BE A MATCH IF YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Residence within the U.S. and licensed within your state of residence
  • Current non-excepted interstate DOT medical card (or eligibility to obtain)
  • 1+ years of documented tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 years OR 2+ years of documented experience within the last 5 years
  • 3+ years of general driving experience with 2 (or fewer) moving violations or accidents
  • English language proficiency
