Who you are:
The Retail Store Manager is to manage the retail outlet, Goods and Chattels. Goods & Chattels sells Tannahill's Tavern & Music Hall soft goods and apparel as well as Chef Tim Love's signature items in a vibrant new environment within Tannahill's Tavern & Music Hall. The selected individual will promote and sell our unique line of clothing and merchandise both in-store and online.
What you'll do:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.
  • Develop and maintain a schedule for employees and promotions for the store.
  • Seek ways to better promote the store, the brand, the product line and service within the store.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
  • Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
  • Ensure the store remains clean, well-stocked, attractive, and presentable at all times.
  • Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.

  • Must seek ways to better promote the store, brand, and the products.
  • Must meet sales goals.
  • Must be engaging, outgoing, and innovative with creative ideas for driving revenue.
  • Must have at least 3 years of retail management experience.
