This position reports to the Houston office and is responsible for performing API 570 inspections, supporting NDE activities, and assisting with the mechanical integrity of piping systems and related equipment while ensuring compliance with applicable industry codes, customer requirements, and company standards.The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality inspection services. This individual will work closely with unit inspectors, operations personnel, and client representatives to support the integrity and reliability of plant assets. At ATI, we are committed to our mission, vision, and values by demonstrating excellence, collaboration, innovation, respect, accountability, ownership, and a dedication to leaving things better than we found themPerform visual inspections in accordance with applicable API standards and company procedures.Assist with external inspections of process equipment to support inspection and integrity programs.Review and redline Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure accuracy and reflect field conditions.Support Unit Inspectors with inspection activities, including borescope inspections, PT testing, and other assigned tasks.Participate in weekly progress meetings to provide project updates and coordinate inspection activities.Attend weekly contractor safety meetings to promote compliance with site safety requirements and communicate project-related safety information.Coordinate and maintain the quarterly harness inspection program, ensuring all equipment inspections are completed and documented.Track and maintain employee training and certifications, including Safety Essentials, Site-Specific Orientation, Scaffolding, Confined Space, and other required credentials to ensure ongoing compliance. Requirements and Education:Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.High school diploma or GEDMinimum 5 years' experienceKnowledge of applicable API codes and industry standards.Ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, and inspection documentation.Strong written and verbal communication skillsMaintain accurate inspection records and required certificationsPreferred Requirements and Education:API 570 certificationAdditional NDE certificationsTWIC Card EEO StatementAIS Infrastructure Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
