Job description

Specialty Turf Supply specializes in the construction, renovation, and maintenance of various athletic fields across the state of Alabama.

We are urgently hiring maintenance/grounds crew members to maintain sports fields in the Birmingham area! This opportunity is great for anyone who enjoys working outdoors in a laid-back environment. Join a team of dedicated professionals who take pride in maintaining high-quality baseball/softball, soccer, football, and other athletic fields . We strongly value teamwork and a strong work ethic, while maintaining a positive and supportive environment.

This full-time position will be expected to perform physical labor tasks including but not limited to:
mowing
weed-eating
edging
painting field lines
raking
shoveling
Crew members are required to:
 -have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds 
-be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
-safely operate landscape equipment
-have a valid US Driver’s License 
-have obtained a high school diploma or GED

Strong preference for candidates with experience in irrigation systems.
