Role Description This 1099 Commission Only role is a hybrid position based in one of our new launch markets - Salinas, CA, Pensacola, FL, Savannah, GA, Augusta, GA, Athens, GA, or Lake Charles, LA. The Area Sales Representative will prospect and qualify leads, conduct in-person meetings, and present BroadbandOne’s dedicated fixed wireless internet solutions to business customers. The role includes managing a sales pipeline, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals in coordination with internal teams. The representative will build and maintain strong relationships with local partners, community organizations, and service providers to support market growth. Regular responsibilities also include tracking sales performance, reporting market feedback, and participating in local events or outreach to increase brand awareness.

Qualifications

• Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, with experience managing a local territory or area.
• Customer relationship management skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and account follow-up.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, with familiarity or interest in wireless, broadband, or telecom services.
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for in-person meetings and community engagement.
• Self-motivated with solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple opportunities and deadlines.
• Comfort working on-site in the locally assigned area, including local travel as needed.
• Prior experience in field sales, telecommunications, technology, or related industries is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
