Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students across two middle school locations in Arlington Heights, IL. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively as part of a team of eight OTs supporting the school district and helping students succeed in their educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations to help determine special education eligibility.
  • Provide MTSS and IEP support to students.
  • Serve as a member of middle school building-level teams.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs.
  • Promote the generalization of occupational therapy skills across educational settings.
  • Provide occupational therapy services and support based on student and IEP needs.
  • Participate in collaborative problem-solving and student support initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with school-aged students is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
