Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Minimum 10 years of experience in avionics domain across key ATA chapters (ATA 21, 22, 23, 31, 34, 42)
• Strong understanding of aircraft-level avionics systems integration
• Experience in systems development lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, testing, certification)
• Ability to interface with avionics suppliers and manage technical coordination
• Hands-on experience in system integration, validation, and certification activities
• Knowledge of ARP4754A (Aircraft & Systems Development) and ARP4761 (Safety Assessment)
• Experience in requirements management and traceability tools (DOORS preferred)
• Understanding of avionics communication protocols (ARINC 429, AFDX)
• Experience supporting ground tests, lab integration, and flight test activities
• Strong capability in system-level troubleshooting and issue resolution
Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead aircraft-level avionics systems integration across multiple ATA chapters
• Ensure proper interaction, compatibility, and performance of integrated avionics systems
• Define and manage system requirements, architecture, and interface control documents (ICDs)
• Coordinate with avionics suppliers for development, integration, and issue resolution
• Perform functional decomposition and requirements allocation
• Support system integration activities during ground testing and certification phases
• Conduct verification & validation (V&V) activities at system and aircraft level
• Ensure compliance with ARP4754A development lifecycle processes
• Apply ARP4761 safety assessment principles in system development
• Support certification activities with regulatory authorities (FAA/EASA)
• Analyze and resolve system integration and interface issues
• Manage requirements flow-down, traceability, and configuration control
• Prepare/review test procedures, reports, and certification documentation
