The Advanced Electronic Warfare Systems (AEWS) Product line is looking for a Program Manager lead our growing low band capture campaign.
A successful candidate manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes the campaign and related IRAD projects. They lead new business development, stakeholder engagement plans, and internally funded research and development programs. They model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.
Responsibilities include:
  • Lead and shape lowband captures and proposals, developing strategy to expand our existing technology baseline
  • Lead a critical IRAD program supporting the overall campaign
  • Engaging directly with perspective customers and other industry partners, aligning activities with ECS business priorities
  • Engaging with BAE Systems internal stakeholders across 4 different business areas
  • Briefing BAE Systems leadership on strategic updates
  • Coordinate with functions, other Business Areas, and Sectors to establish successful business rhythm
This role will report directly to the F-22 and Lowband Program Area Director, within the ECS Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions (AEWS) product line and is based in Nashua, New Hampshire. Because of the classified nature of the campaign, it is a full-time on-site role.

Required Skills and Education
  • Proven experience leading programs
  • Experience in new business capture, such as proposal writing and internal review processes
  • Experience with life cycle management
  • Self-starting individual with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of leveraging a wide range of resources to identify solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams (ie Engineering, Finance, Operations, etc.) in the execution of complex technical tasks
  • Experience in new business capture, such as proposal writing and internal review processes
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple US government customers

Preferred Skills and Education
  • Proven experience working across sectors and business areas creating measurable new business opportunities
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent certification
  • Experience developing and influencing USG requirements generation
  • Proven operations experience in building new products
  • Experience and knowledge of R&D programs to transition to the larger EW business
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively communicate with stakeholders, both internal and external
