Job description

Evening and night shift available mainly.

Responsibilities:

  • Aliquot samples and prepares samples for testing,
  • Prepares reagents needed for analytical procedures
  • Maintains and follows all laboratory methods, protocols and SOPs
  • Performs and documents routine maintenance of the equipment including temperature readings, basic troubleshooting, and daily laboratory housekeeping
  • Maintains knowledge of current laboratory practice via continuing education, including attendance at laboratory meetings
  • Maintaining laboratory organization and supply inventories
  • Follows safety and operational SOPs as required.
  • Adherence to all company Policies and Procedures
  • Flexible in the schedule and willing to learn outside the regular job duties.
  • Ability to lift 20 – 30 lbs

Job Requirements:

  • High school, Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Well organized and detail oriented; ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Effective and comfortable communicator
  • Flexible and positive attitude and high level of comfort in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Strong sense of job ownership
  • Ability to take initiative and work well with minimal supervision Good problem-solver and trouble-shoot
