At IKEA, we are a very family-friendly retailer, that's why we offer IKEA Småland, a place for kids to have fun while our customers shop on their own. As a Children's Activity Area Associate, you will:

  • Contribute to creating a pleasant and safe environment for the children that visit our play facility.
  • Register children, monitor and entertain children while in the playroom, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of children's activities both in and outside of Småland.
  • Build meaningful and empathetic relationships with children and their caretakers.
  • Strictly adhere to all IKEA play facility and safety & security policy and procedures.
  • Support in other areas of the customer experience function as needed, such as cashier and greeter role to provide additional coverage when needed.

JOB TYPE: Permanent Part-Time (limited benefits) HOURS: 12–20 hrs/week (PT) PAY RATE: $19.50 SHIFT: Must be able to work in Cash lanes; Availability: Mornings 9:30am to 2:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Weekends all day.
