Overview
Job Purpose
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing client relationships, finding cross selling, and upselling opportunities for Intercontinental Exchange's (ICE) Mortgage Technology division. This individual will sell products and/or services and manages relationships with existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction, account retention, and continued revenue growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
  • Acts as primary liaison between client and ICE and understands client's needs, including financial expectations and restrictions
  • May assist in the development and execution of account plans to ensure continued revenue growth from account base
  • Demonstrates product knowledge including various solutions, markets, and competitive intelligence
  • Analyzes and evaluates pricing and costing scenarios to offer most viable value proposition
  • Assists sales teams in the preparation of proposals for clients utilizing ICE resources and tools
  • Monitors service levels, discusses with management, and recommends opportunities for improving service levels, revenue, and profit
  • Assists in the development of sales plans and strategies
  • May travel up to 50% to client sites and/or events
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • 5+ years of sales or account management experience, preferably in SaaS
  • Mortgage industry experience
  • Experience selling or supporting origination technology and/or servicing technology
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a full book of business independently as a self-starter

Preferred Knowledge and Experience
  • Experience with ICE Mortgage Technology products, services, and capabilities
  • Salesforce or other CRM tool experience
  • Experience working in a metrics-based environment with the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
  • Highly experienced in negotiation and ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • In-depth understanding of the sales process
  • Excellent follow-up skills in all areas of sales cycle
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management both internal and client facing

Remote Base Salary Range
The expected base salary for this role is between $120,000 - $150,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
