Data Architect
Position Purpose / Mission
Help shape the future of data across a digitally evolving manufacturing enterprise.
As our Enterprise Data Architect, you will define and drive the data strategy that powers business intelligence, operational excellence, advanced analytics, automation, and emerging AI capabilities. This highly visible role sits at the intersection of business and technology, partnering closely with leaders across Digital, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to create scalable, trusted, and accessible data solutions.
You will architect modern data platforms and integration strategies that connect manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, cloud technologies, and analytical applications into a cohesive enterprise ecosystem. Through your leadership, the organization will gain the trusted data foundation needed to accelerate innovation, improve decision-making, and unlock the value of AI and data-driven transformation.

What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 6+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Integration, Analytics Architecture, or enterprise-scale data platform design.
  • Proven success designing enterprise data ecosystems that support both operational and analytical workloads.
  • Strong understanding of modern data modeling techniques, including normalized, dimensional, canonical, and domain-driven approaches.
  • Experience establishing governance practices that improve data quality, lineage, security, and trust.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud data technologies, data warehouses, data lakes, APIs, and integration frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within manufacturing, supply chain, industrial technology, or ERP-centric environments.
  • Oracle EBS experience preferred.
  • Experience with Azure Data Services, Snowflake, Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Kafka, CDC, and event-driven architectures.
  • Exposure to AI/ML platforms, predictive analytics, Industrial IoT, and enterprise data governance programs.
  • Experience leading data modernization or digital transformation initiatives at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Data Strategy & Architecture
  • Design and evolve enterprise data architecture that supports business growth, analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.
  • Establish scalable patterns for data ingestion, integration, storage, transformation, and consumption across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Define architectural standards for APIs, ETL/ELT, streaming, CDC, event-driven solutions, and reusable data products.
Data Governance & Platform Excellence
  • Champion enterprise standards for data quality, lineage, metadata management, security, and compliance.
  • Develop trusted, governed data assets that improve consistency, reliability, and accessibility across the organization.
  • Guide the adoption of modern architecture principles and best practices across data teams.
Analytics, AI & Innovation
  • Enable advanced manufacturing and operational analytics, including predictive maintenance, supply chain visibility, operational intelligence, and AI-ready data solutions.
  • Partner with analytics, engineering, and business teams to accelerate self-service reporting, data science, and machine learning initiatives.
  • Help define the future-state architecture that supports emerging AI and automation capabilities.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Facilitate architecture reviews and strategic planning sessions that align business objectives with technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges and drive enterprise consistency.
  • Mentor technical professionals, share best practices, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate architectural vision and recommendations effectively to executives, business leaders, and technical stakeholders.
