Customer Service Representative (CSR)

ProCare Home Medical is growing and looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. In this vital role, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, caregivers, and referral sources -- helping them get the medical equipment, supplies, and support they need with care and accuracy.

What You'll Do

As a CSR, you'll handle a variety of responsibilities that keep our patients' care running smoothly:

  • Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, or via the web.
  • Process patient orders quickly, accurately, and according to policy.
  • Verify insurance coverage and complete necessary documentation.
  • Enter and maintain patient and referral source information in computer systems.
  • Coordinate deliveries, set-ups, and follow-ups for home medical equipment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Support retail sales, intake, and inventory coordination.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, and all company standards.
What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Excellent customer service and phone skills (required).
  • 2 years of HME/DME experience and knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
  • Proficient data entry skills; able to type 40+ wpm and use 10-key by touch (preferred).
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to think quickly, stay calm under pressure and provide outstanding service.
Physical & Mental Requirements
  • Regularly work at a computer, phone, or front counter.
  • Lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 55 lbs occasionally).
  • Excellent attention to detail and fine motor dexterity.
  • Ability to focus, calculate figures, and handle sensitive information and confidentiality.
