Role Summary

Responsible for driving systemlevel adoption of Littelfuse technologies across Utility Power Grid, Mining, and Processing Infrastructure markets in the Americas. This role blends deep engineering expertise with market development skills to translate customer challenges into integrated Littelfuse protection, sensing, power semiconductor, relay, and surge mitigation solutions.
The ideal candidate partners closely with Sales & FAE Team to interact with utilities, EPCs, industrial operators, mining companies, and processing facilities to influence specifications, strengthen reliability, and secure multiproduct designins.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Solution Development: Create reference architectures for refineries, compressor stations, pump/drive systems, mining haulage and processing equipment, utility substations, and power distribution skids.
  • Harsh-Environment Reliability: Engineer protection and control solutions addressing arc-flash risk, shock/vibration, contaminants, and extreme temperatures; align designs to site-class and hazardous area practices as applicable.
  • Customer Engagement & Design-In: Support Pre-FEED/FEED, participate in HAZOP/LOPA discussions as a supplier-partner, influence specifications, and guide equipment OEM and EPC selections toward Littelfuse system designs.
  • Segment Marketing & Positioning: Own global strategy for Infrastructure + Processing & Extraction; target utilities, EPCs, owner-operators, and OEMs with application-specific value propositions.
  • Sales & Channel Enablement: Provide arc-flash mitigation diagrams, surge coordination tools, reliability guides, and selector tools tailored to Oil & Gas and mining duty cycles.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor NEC/IEC changes, IEEE utility standards, API/O&G guidance, and mining safety regulations to inform roadmaps and positioning.

Qualifications
  • Education (Required): Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or Power Systems Engineering.
  • Experience: 7+ years in Oil & Gas / mining /industrial processing / utility infrastructure or EPC/project engineering with a track record of design-in/specification influence.
  • Technical Expertise: Industrial power distribution, motor protection and control, relays, surge/EMC, enclosures and environmental protection, and reliability-centered maintenance considerations.
  • Communication: Strong technical writing and executive presentation skills; able to translate reliability/risk into commercial impact.
  • Attributes: Field-oriented, safety-conscious, collaborative across product management, application engineering, sales, and channel teams.
Success Metrics
  • Increase in qualified infrastructure design-ins and specification adoptions (utilities, O&G, mining).
  • Incremental revenue and pipeline tied to system solutions and program execution.
  • Growth in multi-product wins per account and enablement asset usage/feedback.
Travel
  • Up to 30% - For customer engagements, field assessments, and industry events.
