Join our team as an Elementary School Counselor!
Bettendorf Community School District is seeking a compassionate, student-centered professional to join our team as a full-time Elementary School Counselor at Mark Twain Elementary for the 2026 27 school year. If you are committed to supporting the academic, social-emotional, and career development needs of all students while fostering a positive and inclusive school environment, we encourage you to apply!

$50,000 (MA, Step 0; based on the 2025 2026 salary schedule)
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in School Counseling or related field.
  • Valid Iowa School Counselor License with K 12 Professional School Counselor endorsement.
  • Demonstrated successful experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
  • Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), social-emotional learning, and crisis response practices preferred.
  • Must be able to provide required I-9 documentation to verify eligibility to work in the United States.
