  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with elementary writing standards and common challenges such as organizing ideas coherently, generating writing content, and applying spelling rules consistently. Adapts instruction using graphic organizers, mentor texts, interactive writing activities, and positive feedback to support young writers from kindergarten through fifth grade building confidence and skill in narrative, informational, and opinion writing genres.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
