This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Respite Care Provider Needed
Are you passionate about working with the youth and families? Do you love giving back to your community and making a real difference in a child's life while having fun?
We are seeking a kind, enthusiastic, patient (but firm) provider with an energetic personality that's able to keep up with a young boy in Eau Claire, WI. If you love building connections and bringing a sense of joy and routine to a child's day, we would love to hear from you!
Schedule & Pay:
Eau Claire, WI
  • Care provided in the child's home and local outings
Schedule:
  • Evenings- 4pm-10pm (up to 10hrs/week)
  • Weekend overnights (as needed)
Hourly Pay: $14.13
Overnight Pay: $207.45
About The Child-
Enjoys:
  • Legos, drawing, coloring, watching Disney movies
  • Playing on the trampoline
  • Going on bike rides and community outings.
  • The family provides an Action City Pass and a local waterpark pass!

Responsibilities-
  • Provide close supervision in and outside of the home
  • Engage with child through his preferred activities
  • Encourage him to spend time out of the house (fun outings)
  • Assist with hygiene (reminders to shower, assistance with getting out of the shower)
  • Prep meals if parents are away during meal times
  • Administer medication (if out of home during medication windows)

Requirements-
  • CPR Certification
  • Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle, & auto insurance
  • Previous experience in childcare is preferred
  • Pet friendly (this family has an indoor cat)
