• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ psychological needs and design tailored treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions with individuals, couples, and families using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that address mental health awareness and promote community connection
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to coordinate comprehensive care approaches that consider all aspects of a patient’s life
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, assisting patients in regaining stability and safety
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and available community resources that can aid their recovery journey
• Ensure meticulous and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance treatment effectiveness
• Engage actively in ongoing professional development and stay updated with the latest advancements in mental health therapy

The therapists at Peace and Purpose Psychotherapy Center work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds facing a multitude of mental health issues. You will play a vital role in helping underserved populations access essential mental health services, advocating for their well-being and recovery.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) within Texas
• Expertise in mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment strategies
• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and outline effective treatment plans
• Experience providing therapy services to varied demographics, ensuring inclusive support
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster therapeutic relationships
• Adherence to ethical practices and sound professional judgment in clinical settings

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology
• Experience in clinical settings offering individual and group therapy sessions
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) software and other documentation tools
• Previous involvement in crisis management and emergency intervention
