Opportunity:
We are currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach SPAC 514- Commercial and Governmental Space Infrastructure.
Course Description
Provides overview of full scope of commercial and civil satellite industry including history, technology, operations and business. Covers range of markets including commercial, government civil, and national security. Focuses on industry verticals not addressed in detail in other MSO courses.
Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training. Presently, we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California. ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases.
If selected for this role, the candidate will be required to provide proof of stated qualifications. This includes, but is not limited to, official transcripts, copies of professional licenses/certifications, documentation of military experience, and/or verified professional industry related experience.
Qualifications
Doctorate with a dissertation in teaching discipline, or a Doctorate degree with a dissertation within concentration that is in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
Desired Professional Training or Experience
Experience in civil or commercial space programs with a preference for experience with emerging market commercial space programs.
