Be a part of the Artemis and Orion teams taking astronauts to the Moon and beyond. This is your chance to be at the center of a generational program that will land astronauts on the Moon for the first time on over 50 years. As an ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) Electrical Test Engineer on the Orion program, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of electrical integration activities for the Orion spacecraft for Artemis II (first crewed flight), Artemis III (lunar landing), and future missions.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
Develop test plans, test procedures, and automated test scripts for system and subsystem-level electrical tests on the Orion spacecraft and test articles
Perform test procedure and test script checkout in the Orion Test Labs in Denver and Houston
Execute test procedures on current flight articles (Artemis II and Artemis III), the Environmental Test Article (ETA), and future vehicles under Orion production
Collaborate with team members across the program including systems engineering, CPEs/RSEs, software, test labs, manufacturing, quality, and NASA
