Job description

As a Petroleum Construction Assistant Foreman at C2C Construction LLC, you’ll be instrumental in driving our mission to deliver exceptional construction services for the fueling industry. Working closely with our Foreman, you’ll oversee daily operations on fuel system and petroleum infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance are always at the forefront. Your leadership will shine as you coordinate crews, maintain project schedules, and uphold the integrity of our work, especially in the Foreman’s absence. Compensation:

$25 - $30 hourly


Responsibilities:

Field Operations & Crew Support

  • Assist in supervising daily jobsite activities for petroleum construction projects
  • Help assign tasks, track crew productivity, and maintain workflow
  • Step in as acting Foreman when needed
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are staged and used properly

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce jobsite safety policies, OSHA requirements, and company procedures
  • Assist with daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and toolbox talks
  • Monitor compliance with environmental, spill-prevention, and fuel system regulations

Quality Control

  • Help ensure work meets project plans, specs, and industry standards
  • Monitor installations such as tanks, piping, sumps, dispensers, and canopies
  • Report issues, deficiencies, or scope changes to the Foreman immediately

Coordination & Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between crew members and the Foreman
  • Communicate daily progress, delays, or site challenges
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors as directed

Documentation & Reporting

  • Assist with daily reports, time tracking, and material logs
  • Document safety incidents, inspections, and corrective actions
  • Help maintain organized job site records

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in petroleum construction, underground utilities, or heavy civil construction
  • Working knowledge of fuel system construction (UST/AST, piping, dispensers, sumps, concrete, electrical coordination)
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety and OSHA standards
  • Ability to read plans, layouts, and basic construction drawings
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior leadership or crew-lead experience
  • Petroleum-specific certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working around active fueling facilities
  • Equipment operation experience (excavators, skid steers, lifts, etc.)
