Job description

1st Shift - 5:00AM - Until Finish
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for sampling, monitoring and auditing all production processes, documenting findings as required.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and address issues with line during pre-op procedures
  • Work with sanitation crew to release lines during pre-op procedures
  • Perform and document all in-line checks on predesigned time schedule
  • Perform and document process control testing sample collections
  • Assists with FS lab duties as directed, including performing enrichments
  • Verify packaging integrity by performing seal checks
  • Collect controlled samples from each production run
  • Monitor, correct and document GMP violations within facility
  • Assist QA management with Foreign Material inspections as needed
  • Assist QA management with sample tests as needed
  • Train in all areas available for assigned shift
  • Notify supervisor of any quality defects present in product along process flow
  • Identify Food Safety Hazards and address appropriately
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous quality experience preferred
  • Experienced with computers, iPad technology
  • Must have a desire to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction, process, product quality, and reliability.
  • Must be detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.
  • Flexible and open to change
  • Self-motivated and result oriented
  • Positive team player
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Safety Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs+ using approved lifting techniques
  • Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time in cold, wet environments
  • Must be able to climb stairs regularly
  • Must be able to withstand heights of up to 10+ft for extended periods
