Job Summary :

A Sleep Lab Technologist, Registered is responsible for performing artifact free Polysomnography, PAP Titrations, MSLT and MWT studies and the scoring of those studies. The duties and responsibilities are outlined below.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide Quality Sleep Disorder Testing

2. Properly prepares patient for the procedure

3. Documentation

4. Scoring of Sleep Studies

5. Post Study Duties

6. Scanning

7. Additional Patient Education

Qualifications

Education Requirements and Other Requirements:

Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree in Science preferred.

Certification/Licensure: Adult/Pediatric CPR certification required (Available upon employment).

Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists (BRPT) or National Board of

Respiratory Care (NBRC) required

Experience Requirements: Experience in a technical healthcare field with training and 3-5 years' experience in Respiratory Care and/or Sleep preferred. 1 year experience as a Registered Sleep Technologist preferred.
