CTE Technology / IT Teacher

Location: High School
Reports To: High School Principal
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Range: Teacher Salary Schedule plus extended contract days

Position Summary

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Technology/IT Teacher prepares students for careers in computer science, networking, and information technology. The teacher creates a learning environment that supports technical skill development, problem-solving, and career readiness.

Courses may include computer programming fundamentals, Microsoft certification preparation, and Cisco networking. The district encourages programs that include robotics competitions, industry-recognized certifications, and technology internships.


Key Responsibilities

Technology & IT Instruction

  • Teach computer science, programming, networking, and technology courses
  • Prepare students for industry certifications such as Microsoft and Cisco credentials
