Job Summary
General instruction in applicable areas of architectural technology such as:
1. Architectural design at the residential and commercial levels.
2. Building materials and methods of construction.
3. Current Kentucky Building Code.
4. General office practices and portfolio assembly.
5. Knowledge and applications of computer-aided drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
6. Architectural drawing and rendering techniques in both traditional and digital formats.
7. Knowledge of building construction management principles.
8. Knowledge of building construction estimating principles and techniques.

• Provide architectural instruction for online, in the classroom & laboratory settings.
• Demonstrate current knowledge required by curriculum for architectural applications and techniques.
• Work collaboratively with faculty & staff to provide education, evaluation & supervision to students
• Complete required professional development trainings required of adjunct faculty.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Associate in Applied Sciences in Architectural Technology AND related work experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field AND related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Accredited degree in Architecture along with current Architectural License in the state of Kentucky.
ACH 195 - Computer Aided Drafting I only: Associate degree in any discipline along with three to five years of work experience in computer aided drafting, or related field.
