Description

Kondex Corporation is looking for Assembly Technicians to join the Sickle Assembly department.


Current openings on 2nd shift

2nd Shift hours: Monday - Friday 3:30 pm to 12 am
Hours may fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs.


$3.00 per hour shift premium


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Basic manual assembly using pneumatic and hand tools. 
  2. Reading prints and routings. 
  3. Performing basic inspections using hand-held measuring devices. 
  4. Wrapping completed products in preparation for shipment.  
  5. Closing orders in computer system. 
  6. Perform manual material handling.
  7. Performing 5S activities, including limited preventative maintenance on equipment.
  8. May assist in training full time, part time, and temporary associates in the Sickle Assembly department. 

Requirements

  • Prior computer experience in a manufacturing environment (ERP/MRP (Epicor) or HMI systems) is preferred.
  • Prior experience using basic hand tools is preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
