Job Title

Key Duties, Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and scheduling the daily batch workload.
  • Coordinating disaster recovery schedules and enterprise wide scheduling calendars.
  • Maintain quality assurance of scheduling documentation and standards.
  • Conduct audit control for production scheduling databases.
  • Provide frontline support for incoming scheduling calls and service request.
  • Effectively applies fundamental concepts; works on assignments of moderate scope and complexity, with limited oversight; makes recommendations for changes to procedures, and performs varied work, requiring a good deal of originality or ingenuity.
  • Developing additional behaviors of conflict management, analytical problem solving, and prioritization and planning.
  • Other duties as assigned based on divisional needs.
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all health and safety rules.
  • Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Associates degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of three years experience in mainframe and/or distributed scheduling.
  • Intermediate level of mainframe experience including TSO, ISPF, SDSF and other operational functionality.
  • Has a high level of interpersonal and communication skills and displays a self-driven, proactive work ethic while exhibiting extensive problem solving skills and initiative.
