Job Description:
POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION: Biology Adjunct Instructor
APPLICATION PROCEDURE: For a complete file, fill out an online application, upload cover letter, resume, and transcript if applicable and include three professional references' contact information. Before a candidate is hired, a pre-employment criminal background investigation, motor vehicle records check and employer/professional reference check will be conducted. Following screening, candidates may be asked to submit further documentation.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Part-time position based on semester system. This is for Fall semester 2026 beginning on, August 17, 2026 and ending December 14, 2026. Adjunct faculty responsibilities are centered on preparing and teaching classes as assigned. Classes may be taught day or evening at any of CTC's campuses.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate hours in Biology
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer literacy skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Biology
  • Experience teaching General Biology, Microbiology, or Anatomy and Physiology

SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary--$2,300 per course. There are no State Benefits.
Please be aware that all Chattahoochee Technical College employees must be paid by DIRECT DEPOSIT unless exempted by the State Accounting Office based on "hardship" evidence provided by the employee.
