Job description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As an Accounting Specialist, you will perform complex accounting responsibilities for the accounting department. You will report to the Accounting Manager.

Start Rate: $23.93 Hourly | 100% On-Site | Monday-Friday| 8:00 AM - 4:30PM

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will perform multiple analytics and review functions to ensure accounting accuracy.
  2. Help with monthly closing process.
  3. Record general ledger entries.
  4. Compile reconciliations.
  5. Process payables and receivables.
  6. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Accounting or Finance or 2 years related experience.
  • Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions or conversions)
  • Use Ten Key (by touch)
  • Understanding of accounting principles
  • Prior experience using of Microsoft Word and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Two years' directly related experience
