Our client, an established boutique insurance defense law firm based in Central Mississippi, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to join its growing practice.

With over 20 years of industry experience, our client delivers strategic, results-oriented representation to insurers. Their practice concentrates on first-party coverage matters, general liability defense, special investigations, and subrogation, offering carriers practical legal guidance informed by deep sector knowledge.


Holding a key certification in insurance fraud investigation, the firm brings a distinctive edge to high-risk and complex matters, pairing investigative insight with legal advocacy to identify exposure, mitigate risk, and safeguard client interests.

We are looking for a driven attorney who performs well in a fast-paced litigation setting, demonstrates sound judgment, and places a high value on responsiveness, professionalism, and strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee insurance defense litigation files from intake through final resolution
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and coverage-related correspondence
  • Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
  • Evaluate complex claims and build strategic case assessments
  • Maintain clear communication with carriers, clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
  • Partner with firm leadership on case management and litigation strategy

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
