Tax Associate (1–3 Years Experience)

Hybrid | Denver, CO (Greater Remote Flexibility Available)

We are partnered with a small, boutique CPA firm in Denver, CO that is looking to add a Tax Associate to its growing team. This is not a traditional CPA firm environment—the firm values flexibility, collaboration, and sustainable workloads while providing high-quality tax and advisory services to its clients.

This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of public accounting experience who is looking to grow technically, gain client exposure, and build a long-term career within a supportive firm.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals and businesses, including 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120‑S
  • Support tax planning efforts for individuals and closely held businesses
  • Communicate with clients to gather information, answer questions, and support the tax process
  • Assist with accounting and financial reporting tasks as needed (GL, reconciliations, financial statements)
  • Work closely with senior accountants and leadership in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Continue developing technical tax skills while expanding client-facing experience
