Job description

Get to know us: NOVO Health Services offers linen management solutions to the healthcare industry. NOVO Health keenly focuses on safety and infection control and provides its partner hospitals with a value-driven linen management control system that measures and monitors linen utilization by department to eliminate excess internal costs. NOVO's wide range of service programs offer a variety of options to provide a seamless, single source distribution system. NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
โ€ข Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
โ€ข Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.
โ€ข Inspect clean linen to ensure all quality standards have been met.
โ€ข Pouch and label sterile product utilizing the heat-sealing machine.
โ€ข Work within established productivity and quality standards.
โ€ข Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement.
โ€ข Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.
โ€ข Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
โ€ข Keep workstation neat and clean.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred.
  • Good analytical skills to be able to determine number of carts required for orders.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry
  • Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items from machine for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.
